Tech Art: Intro to Blueprints

The scene I ended up making for this assignment used a mix of keyboard trigger events, and collision boxes to assemble a 'holy croissant' temple of sorts. I used several assets from the Modular Fantasy House asset pack, as well as some statues and a croissant mesh I found on FAB.

The first blueprint was for a simple collision door opening and closing sequence. The door would rotate 90 degrees on the axis when the player enters the collision box, and close when the player exits the collision box. 



For the second half of the assignment, I wanted to make a magical croissant that would levitate and begin spinning and glowing when the player interacts with it. I used a series of timelines and loops to make it rise into the air before rotating in place, and an additional timeline that causes the croissant to  glow.
